At Ruby's Quail Farm, we specialize in several jumbo coturnix quail breeds, including Jumbo White, Blue Celadon, Butler's Bobwhite, Egyptian, Sparkly, Pansy, Rosetta, and Pearl. These breeds are renowned for their rapid maturation (6-8 weeks) and prolific egg-laying capabilities (300+ annually).
Jumbo coturnix quail are ideal for small-scale, sustainable protein production. They thrive in high-density housing and have an 18-day incubation period, making them perfect for urban or backyard settings due to their quiet nature and high efficiency in small spaces.
Nutritious eggs and tender meat
Our quail produce beautifully nutritious eggs, high in Vitamin A, B12, and iron, and are quite tasty. The meat is tender and an excellent source of protein, making processing easy and rewarding.
Quail require a high-protein diet (24-30% protein) and secure, well-ventilated housing protected from predators. They are great for homesteads or as family pets, bringing joy and excitement to backyard animal husbandry, whether you enjoy a small covey or a large production.
